March 1, 2011: Anna Tunnicliffe, 2010 Rolex Yachtswoman of the Year
"Anna Tunnicliffe swears it doesn't get old traveling to New York each year on the final Friday in February to pick up a shiny watch. And I think I believe her. For the third straight year, Tunnicliffe was chosen as the most outstanding female sailor in the United States. She excelled in match racing, in Laser Radials, and in Snipes. Hard to argue with that level of success across a variety of boats. With 16 months until the Olympics and a little less than that until the U.S. Sailing Team choses its representative for the Games, we checked in with Tunnicliffe, who for all her success over the past few years, is anything but a sure thing for the Olympic berth."

"Skippers get most of the attention that sailing gets as a sport.
But three San Diegans — Graham Biehl, Briana Provancha and Molly Vandemoer — are making news as crews for three of the United States’ top medal hopefuls in the 2012 Olympics.
Biehl and skipper Stuart McNay form the top-ranked American team in the men’s 470 class. Provancha is crewing for Annie Haeger in the women’s 470 class. And Vandemoer is part of the team that won the Olympic Team of the Year award from USSailing in 2010."
