The boats are all packed up in containers and off to their next location. Racing ended around 5pm yesterday (Sunday) and it was straight to derigging the boats and pulling them out of the water. We had a great event, finishing just 3 points shy of the podium after 32 races, but it was a great step forward for our team, Team GAC Pindar, and we are looking forward to the next event in the Extreme Sailing Series in Nice, France.

I was back sailing again yesterday after having to take Friday off due to a small injury. But it was another great day on the water for Team GAC Pindar as we moved up the leaderboard back onto the podium with one more day of racing left.

What an amazing day of racing yesterday was at the Extreme Sailing Series Act 5 in Cardiff, UK. I recently joined Team GAC Pindar as tactician, and after a few days of practice we hit the race course yesterday for day 1 of racing. The boys did an amazing job around the course with the boat handling, giving us very consistent results leaving us lying tied for second after the first 8 races.

We won the Silver medal at the 2012 ISAF Women's Match Racing World Championships today!! We advanced to the finals by defeating fellow American's Team Barkow 3-0, but went on to lose a tight series to overall Champions Team Audi Match Race, (FIN).

It was a completely new type of day at the ISAF Women's Match Racing World Championships. The wind was from the shore ranging through 10-30kts throughout the day. We had a pretty good day ending the round 5-2 in a three-way tie. We tied with our US teammates, Team Barkow, and Team Audi Match Race (FIN) who won the round after the ties were broken. The fourth semi finalist is Team Leroy (FRA).
