It was a light wind day with short courses close to shore again. After a long delay, we finally got in two races in a nice sea breeze. We scored a 9, 14 and moved up one spot to 14th overall.

Four short races and a true test of mental patience and boat handling today. I'm not going to make excuses for us. We didn't necessarily sail great and we came home with a 15, 11, 15, 11 and dropped to 15th.

Happy 4th America!!! And it was a happy day for us today out in Denmark! The day started well and finished even better with a bang! We scored a 9, 1 today and moved up to 11th and qualified for the Gold fleet.
The goal after yesterday was to try and sail a little smarter and more tactically as it relates to skiff sailing. We accomplished that goal, but had a couple boat handling slip-ups today that cost us tons of places and dropped us down the score board to 23rd after a 14, 36, 27.
Today felt like one of those days when you think you're ready for a test and then the test shows up and you only know half of the equation to solve the puzzle. We had great parts to our races, but missed simple skiff racing tactics that would have saved us a lot of points.
