2nd At The USSTAG WMR Qualifiers

January 9, 2010
Miami, FL

Today was the last day of racing at the USSTAG Qualifier here in Miami.  We had a light air, warm day, quite different from yesterday's conditions.  Sally Barkow's team won their final match in their semi-final match up and then continued their winning streak by taking the series in the finals 3-0 over us.  We had a couple of great races with Barkow and team, but they sailed an excellent series and got the better of us.

Good Day For Us : Finals' Opponent Still To Be Decided

January 8, 2011
Miami, FL

We finished a long windy day around 4pm today after completing eight races in the US Sailing's WMR Qualifying Regatta.  We started at 10 am to finish the second round robin before advancing into the semi finals.  We managed to finish the two initial rounds with enough wins to win the round robins, consequently we got to pick our opponent in the semi's.  We won the semi's best of five series 3-0 over Becca Dellenbaugh to advance to the finals tomorrow morning.

US Sailing's Olympic Team of the Year

December 21st, 2010
Key Biscayne, FL

After coming off the water due to lack of wind last week while training, we received an email with some more great news.  We had been named US Sailing Olympic Team of the Year for the 2010 season.  This award was voted on by the Olympic Sailing Committee and we will be considered for the US Olympic Committee Team of the Year, against all other sports.
