Pre-Palma 2011

March 30, 2011
Barcelona, Spain

We have been training hard with Team Skudina from Russia,
since we arrived here in Spain. We have had some great sailing conditions and some very trying conditions - anything from 3-15kts in big swells and chop.  It has been great for us to get comfortable with the acceleration of the boats and with boat handling in these difficult conditions.

1st Women's Team/12th Overall, Open Nacional Snipe 2011

March 6, 2011
Vilagarcia de Arousa, Spain

Today was the final day of racing at the Open Nacional Snipe Regatta 2011.  We ended up top Women's Team and 12th overall, out of 79 boats. We had a reasonable day finishing with a 26, 11, 20.  We are quite happy with our overall place, but know we made plenty of mistakes on which we want/need to work.
